The Arcanan and Danarn Realms

The Arcanan is a realm of the four elements: earth, air, fire and water. It is associated with the Shola and believed to be their realm of origin. The earth element of the Arcanan seems to have the greatest influence on the Substance and the Shola themselves, perhaps because it is a necessary component for the two to co-exist. The three immortal Shola races each appear to be tied to two elements: the earth element and one other.
The Danarn Realm is said to be a fragment of the Arcanan realm associated with the element of earth alone. This is considered to be the plane of origin of the Danarn races and responsible for the formation of the contents of Endailya. Together, these two realms are believed to be the source of all material substance of the world.
