ALORN RACES:
The Alorn are a collection of five races living in various parts of the northern continent, Ragan, and the eastern continent, Silera. Northern Sileria in particular has been dominated by the Alorn throughout most of known history. With a few exceptions, their appearances are akin to humans.
Alorn worship a myriad of gods who, they believe, reside in the Spirit Realm and exert their will on Endailya from a distance. Upon death, an Alorn soul returns to this realm where his or her will joins with the divine. A few cultures believe in reincarnation; in these cases, it is felt that a soul makes multiple journies to the physical world and their past lives influence their current ones.
The majority of magic practices known to the Alorn function by communicating with or creating a breach into the Spirit Realm.

DANARN RACES:
The Danarn group of races are considered to be immortal, a distinction which arises from their means of birth and death. They are linked to the Danarn Realm, a plane of elemental earth, and accordingly have a somewhat otherworldly appearance. The majority of the Danarn population resides in the southeastern mountainous regions of the northern continent, Ragan, although the Y'min have spread quite widely across the known world.

SHOLA RACES
Three of the Shola races are considered to be immortal, arising from the elemental Arcanan Realm. They are quite otherworldly in appearance and live in three quite separate regions of the known world. The fourth race is said to have been granted mortality by one of the Alorn deities and lives among them on the eastern continent of Sileria; their appearance is somewhat of a hybrid of the two races.

T'NISH RACES
This group of races refers to several very different races in very different parts of the world. They are linked by the belief that they have arisen from the Sheloran realm, and their magical practices certainly draw upon this realm's power.
