Neil's Elder Scrolls Saga

  Brougo

  •       Brougo was the owner of a company of gladiators who fought in the Arenas throughout the Empire in the late 3rd era. The gladiators were paid a salary, but under a contract that forced them to pay a large sum of money if they wanted to resign. In this way, Brougo's gladiators were like slaves, although no laws were violated.
He "hired" Oberyn from his mother for a price when Oberyn was eight years old, and had the troubled young boy trained to fight until he was old enough to fight in the Arenas. Oberyn failed to fit in with the other fighters, but proved to be among the very best of Brougo's gladiators. When agents of the Empire paid for Oberyn's release from his contract, Brougo and the other gladiators were relieved to be rid of him.
The Oblivion Crisis made travel extremely difficult. Brougo's fighters were more often used to fight off attacks from looters, bandits, and daedra. His men became less willing to risk their lives for him and became mutinous. Brougo was forced to dissolve the company.

  • Brougo is just a character in Oberyn's story. He is not a character I played in any of the games.
