He has a gap between his front teeth. While fighting an assassin who was trying to kill the King, the assassin stabbed at Gerun's face. Gerun backed away, but the knife sliced through his teeth.

His brother is Harlest Eberict.

He was granted the King's Leave for saving the King from assassins. This means that Gerun can never be convicted of a crime. He can freely kill anyone who is not of the King's bloodline.
